2005 Polaris Ranger 4x4

Another early "equipment" purchase for the farm, the Ranger is both an incredibly useful workhorse and just a lot of plain good fun. Sort of a cross between an ATV and a golf-cart, this vehicle can go anywhere and do so in comfort while carrying three passengers.

I have used it quite a bit for hauling debris and transporting wood around the property. It is able to easily and safely go up and down the steepest slopes I have (quite steep ... actually steep enough to make walking up them a challenge).

Though I haven't had occasion to use it for snow yet, I did also purchase a plow system with electric lift. The plow can be used for light grading in addition to snow removal and I have used it for that purpose, just lightly spreading gravel along the drive.
